Gateway to Skills

An education centre (located in the main CEME building) which offers a uniquely equipped teaching facility for local schools to deliver GCSE and A level subjects in Design, Technology and Engineering  in addition to a range of outreach programmes aimed at improving the awareness and take up of Engineering and Industrial career pathways. These programmes include Saturday Clubs, Curriculum visits, Student and Teacher bursaries and the GTI Foundation Modern Apprenticeship programme - a one year course for unemployed students at level 2 including work experience in a range of small and medium sized businesses.
