Education

CEME will become the focal point of regeneration for Thames Gateway by designing and delivering an array of educational opportunities focussing on the manufacturing, engineering and technology sectors. CEME Ltd will deliver education and skills to boost growth in the local community.

To do this, it will focus on:

  • Providing a local campus environment that encourages collaboration between our tenants, education and training providers and relevant government agencies
  • Recognised as the place to go to receive leading edge education and skills for individuals and companies in engineering, manufacturing and technology subjects
  • Becoming a leading brand for regeneration activities and programmes in the Thames Gateway, to assist workless members of the community to learn new skills and knowledge and secure work in the MET Sector
  • Providing a specialist teaching facility for local schools via the Gateway to Skills Centre and outreach activities
  • Providing community learning provision via the Learning Resource Centre
  • Providing an on site nursery facility via the Bright Horizons Nursery for children from 3 months up to 5 years
