Stephen Bowes joins the team

Stephen Bowes - Health & Safety and Workshop Manager

Stephen joined the facilities team bringing with him a broad range of knowledge in the Health and Safety discipline. Stephen’s experience has been gained in a diverse range of industries including the armed forces, manufacturing, heavy engineering and waste management.

Stephen’s career has seen him in both senior and management positions, with responsibility for the creation and implementation of Health & safety management systems and the management of health and safety practices within the workplace. He started his career in the Royal Air Force and subsequently moved on to manufacturing.

He later took his skills into the waste management and heavy engineering fields. He has brought a broad range of knowledge and experience to the company, which is complimented with a strong passion for developing our health & safety culture.

On his appointment to CEME Stephen said “I am very excited to have joined CEME as this is an innovative and forward looking organisation, which has put health and safety at the top of its agenda for change. This is a new and exciting challenge which will allow us to improve on our already enviable health and safety performance record”.
