CEME – Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence
CEME is an innovative urban regeneration project that supports the development of individuals and organisations – with a specific focus on the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology sector. It is a not-for-profit organisation that operates for the public and region’s benefit. CEME offers an enormous range of onsite training, education and skills provision covering basic learning and skills through to foundation degree level education – CEME is very active in the skills development of unemployed people interested in finding employment in the technology sector. CEME works actively with local schools to bring pupils into a working technology environment and open up the exciting employment opportunities that exist in the technology sector. CEME skills and education covers a wide range of engineering, manufacturing and technology subjects. CEME believes that a thriving business sector is imperative to grow employment opportunities, benefit the public and achieve sustainable urban regeneration. We therefore offer: • a business incubator for early stage growth technology companies • a range of consultancy and specialist advice services for manufacturing, engineering and/or technology businesses.
