The Awards are also recognised as one of the best events of the year. In 2007 the event won the accolade of London's No 1 Business Event at the Visit London Awards.
This year, comedienne Jo Brand who came to prominence in the early 1990s and has appeared on a host of TV shows including QI and Have I Got News For You, hosted the ceremony.
The event was a great success with guests receiving a champagne welcome in the futuristic Circulation area before being treated to spectacular pyrotechnics to announce the service of dinner in the purpose-built marquee.
During the five course dinner, local band Soul Kitchen helped to create a party atmosphere with their energetic performance of classic soul and blues numbers.
Theresa Swift Head of Sales & Marketing commented "This is the largest event CEME Conference Centre has produced and what an event! It gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase our venue and communicate to local businesses that CEME is a leader within the community and is dedicated to working with London Borough of Havering in the regeneration of the area.
Matthew Farrant, CEME Director of Operations and Programmes commented "The event was a fantastic success, I am very proud of the customer service and professionalism demonstrated by the CEME Conference Centre team. I would also like to thank The London Borough of Havering for their partnership throughout the organising stages of the event".
