As a direct consequence of Thames Gateway College (TGC) and CEME being unable to reach an agreement on a new tenancy the college have decided to exit CEME this coming July 2010.

It was good news for CEME on 26th August when the team learnt that they had passed the triple ISO accreditation re-assessment with a clean bill of health. CEME has benefited in a number of ways from implementing these standards across the business.

AN EDUCATIONAL project is giving teenagers with an interest in engineering the drive to get out of bed on a Saturday morning. Scores of young people are now fired up with enthusiasm after being given the opportunity to learn practical skills in the workshops of their local colleges.

So it is great news that the Centre of Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence’s (CEME) Mentoring Network seems to be succeeding where other networks have not, providing local companies with support and ideas from peers, as well as solutions to a lot of everyday problems they are facing.
