CEME, Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence, is a registered charity that operates a world class education and business park in the London Thames Gateway.

Our vision is to be the catalyst at the heart of a technology corridor in the London Thames Gateway, delivering growth in business and skills for the local economy.  CEME opened in 2003 with a goal to increase the contribution that engineering and manufacturing make to the London economy.  We do this in a number of ways:- 

Business creation and growth

• CEME offers a technology start up business innovation centre
• CEME provide a wide range of business support services to technology companies
• Commercial office accommodation is available to suitable companies on the park
• Commercial business training to customers - workshop and classroom based.

Education and Skills

• CEME operates its own unique specialist technology education centre for schools and pupils
• CEME provide end to end management of apprenticeship programmes for employers and works with smaller technology companies on skills needs analysis and solutions.

Commercial services

• CEME operate a world class conference and events centre open to all.
• CEME boasts a children’s nursery based on site in its own building.
