As a consultant you will be developing and building your own desk

  • Cold calling companies to ascertain potential business opportunities
  • Arranging visits to companies
  • Building a rapport with clients
  • Extensive telephone liaison with both candidates and clients
  • Liaising with candidates in regards to any queries they might have and to ensure their files are always up to date.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets on candidates and clients information
  • Scanning and processing CVs, taking up and validating references
  • Liaising with members of staff in other departments or external contacts
  • Carry out clerical activities e.g. filing, copying, faxing
  • Providing effective back up when team members are absent
  • Answering the phones and taking messages.
  • Assisting with onsite registrations with one of our consultants

Sending out letters, interview confirmations and rates agreements by post and email

The ideal Recruitment Consultant will hold the following skills and experiences: -

  • Have experience as a recruitment consultant bringing in new business
  • Working to strict deadlines and targets
  • Vivacious personality
  • Determined nature
  • Good work ethic
  • Desire to succeed
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Prepared to spend all day on the phone
  • Team player – working closely with the team in the office
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • At least 1 year’s experience working within an office environment
