Success Stories: Containers 4 Sale UK LTD

The company

In 2008 Leigh-Ann Bath was looking redundancy in the face after 18 years working for a large American corporation. Rather than be downhearted about this, she knew it was the opportunity she needed to set up her own container hire and trading business. Starting out working from home with just one other member of staff, Leigh-Ann was soon taking calls from companies an major supermarket chains such as Iceland Foods, for whom she is now the sole supplier of containers

The Challenge

“It was amazing to get such a high volume of business and support so early on” says Leigh-Ann. “But it presented us with the problem of needing offices to reflect the professional aspects of our operations. We couldn’t welcome new clients of this standing and persuade them that we a major player without the right premises.”

The Solution

Leigh-Ann d some research into CEME, “I discovered lots about what the centre had to offer, all of it was very impressive” says Leigh-Ann “CEME had everything we need; it looked the part, gave us a registered office and offered great support and back up. The benefits such as monthly workshops, seminars an additional marketing support formed a key part of our growth.”

Containers4Sale are champions of the governments apprentice scheme – they employ two ex apprentices full time and both enjoy great career paths. All employees are encouraged to take advantage of whatever training is made available by CEME, and Leigh-Ann believes it to be very beneficial for the company
